Hi, I am using the FRDM-K66F board with SDK generated for MCUXpresso IDE. I see that when I generate the SDK the included version of the CMSIS DSP Library is V1.4.5 b. How can I either update this to the latest version or select an alternative version during the SDK build process?
Hi @g_lowes2
The CMSIS DSP Library version is set for each SDK version in order to ensure compatibility with our MCUs for that given release of the SDK. This is why we don’t allow changing CMSIS SDP library versions.

Hi,
I see the latest version of MCU Xpresso IDE v11.7 allows for the use of Open-CMSIS-Packs.
Does this now mean I can download the latest version of the CMSIS-DSP in pack format via (https://github.com/ARM-software/CMSIS-DSP) and import it into MCU Xpresso IDE to use the latest DSP code base on my projects rather than the outdated version supplied with the SDK.
Thanks,
Gavin
