Hi all,
I had a problem when adding a new SDK.
I use:
MCUXpresso IDE v11.6.1 [build 8255] [2022-10-03],
SDK_2_12_1_MIMX8MM2xxxLZ.zip generated a day ago.
When I try to add this SDK, I get the following message:
The manifest (MIMX8MM2xxxLZ_manifest_v3_10.xml) has the following compiler version requirement:
<toolchain id="armgcc" name="GCC_ARM_Embedded_10-2021.10" version="10.3.1" full_name="GCC ARM Embedded 10-2021.10" compiler="compiler_gcc" type="armgcc" vendor="GCC ARM Embedded" vendor_url="http://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded"/>
Which I do not have installed.
I could not find this old version for the GCC.
I have several later versions cross-compilers for ARM installed which I actively use (e.g. to build Linux for this board with Yocto).
Question - how can I configure to use a different with requirement version of GCC for add this SDK?
Thank you.
Hi dmitriyantonets
Thank you for contacting us.
SDK_2_12_1_MIMX8MM2xxxLZ only supports these two compiler/debugger. MCUXpresso IDE is not supported.
