Hi NXP,
I plan to use a QN9020 in a new design and I have two questions:
1 - is this device recommended for new designs ? - if NOT, which device does NXP recommend ?
2 - where can I find the MCUxpresso SDK for this device ?
Thanks a lot
Michel Kuenemann
Well there is the newer QN device - QN09080
And also in the Kinetis W range, some devices have Bluetooth and MCUXpresso SDKs available
For more info on supported devices check the mcuxpresso.nxp.com website for downloadable SDKs, plus the MCUXpresso Supported Devices Table

Sorry, there are no plans to support QN9020 in the MCUXpresso environment.
From a quick glance at the product page (QN902x|NXP ) it appears that you will need a copy of IAR or Kei tools, and the QN team provide a product specific SDK (i.e. not an MCUXpresso SDK).

Thanks for prompt reply.
Does NXP provide another BLE SOC which IS supported by MCUXpresso ?
