Good morning
The MCUXpresso is continuously losing the contact with any JTAG probes.
That's what I get.
I thought I solved but this problem is not getting solved.
I tried to reinstall, restart.. It can be temporarily I find there the contact with the JTAG or the SDA. But everything disappears soon.
Help needed
Thank You
Pietro

The marketplace you don't really need if unless you want to install a plugin.
But you can access the marketplace from your browser too:
Eclipse Plugins, Bundles and Products - Eclipse Marketplace
But your real problem is that IT does not allow you somehow to communicate in the network: the debug protocol is based on IP, so this is an issue.
Hi Erich
Effectively after a virus attack the antivirus activity has been set to be aggressive. I see the invasion of field by the antivirus.
I do not pay full attention to the messages. It can well be has been wiped out.
Can You send me or explain where to find the pegdbserver ??
I will need to create an expeption for the antivirus I guess..
Thank You
Pietro
The pegdbserver is the GDB Server from PEMicro (P&E): they provide that binary and the IDE is talking to that GDB server. You will need it if you want to use the P&E debug probe.
Hi @pietrodicastri ,
they should be stored/present in your project as .launch files. Can you check with a text editor if they are reasonable?
Is it restricted to P&E probes only? Are you able to see the property pages e.g. for LinkServer or Segger probes (note: you can create a debug configuration from that page if you double-click on a group.
I hope this helps,
Erich
Hei Erich
Thank you for this assistance in this improbable day.
Everything has worked fine with the previous release of MCUxpresso. This update is not doing well
The update I can supply now is this
If I try to launch a debug from a previously working project.
The directories mentioned in this message are not consistent.
That's the directory tree in the path..
The installation did not go properly. Maybe be it is simple to accomodate..
I am here
Thank You
Pietrro
Yes, that installation does not look ok. I have
and
What I notice is that you don't have the pegdbserver_console.exe.
Could it be that it has been removed by your firewall/virus scanner?
Erich
Hei Erich
I cannot proceed on the basic question until I get the assistance of the IT..
I have nevertheless reinstalled the MCUXpresso and I got a list of additional drawback.
I cannot reach the marketplace, and the skinning has a mixed aspect. It was dark as I wanted, now is
uselessly white with an impossible to use dark in the editor.
Suggestions ???
Thank You
Pietro

Hi Erich
I am grateful for the assistance.
I think I succeded in creating an exeption in the Antivirus. It is preventing the erasing of the file.
I needed to change the installation directory to avoid the black and white mess of colors.
I still need to open the marketplace. But for now it is ok.
I will open a thread with some issues with the programking.
If possible just have a look
Thank You
Pietro
Hei Erich
Yes I checked and it is in the virus chest.
I do not manage to disable this policy. I will wait for the assistance of IT to overcome this problem
