Hi
I'm using a JN-5189 micro-controller the problem I'm facing is that my communication distance between the end device and coordinator is too short like about 5 - 10m. I want to increase my transmission power so I can communicate up to 100m at least.
The attached image is taken from the "JN5189-Power Consumption" document and currently, my MCU is draining 7-10 mA during the transmission so I believe the radio set is 0 dBm. How can I set it to 10 dBm?
Document JN-AN-1252 tells to do a few settings (Image Attached Bellow) but they don't increase the radio Power.
hello
I'm using the JN-AN-1246 example and there is no function like XCVR_SetTxPwr.
HI,
I'm using the JN-AN-1246 LTO example and there is no function like 'XCVR_SetTxPwr'.
Hi,
If you search your compiling log, you should find the compiling path including the XCVR.
In JN-AN-1252, 'vAppApiSetComplianceLimits' is set to output 4db. Do you try to increase this value?
Hi,
What's the example are you using? If you use the default example in JN5189, you should check the 'fsl_xcvr.c'. There is the function to set the tx power 'XCVR_SetTxPwr'. This may be the clue to increase the power.
