Motor control demo disappeared for LPC5536 in SDK 2.15.000?

Hello, it seems that in the newest SDK the motor control examples are not there anymore. 

For example mc_pmsm_dual. Using LPC5536. 

Is this true? 

If I remove 2.15 and install 2.14 will the config tools still work, for projects already updated to 2.15?

Why was it removed? Is this MCU not recommended for motor control anymore?

There is no official reason why it was not included in this new version. From experience I can tell you that it is not always included in all versions.

In MCUXPRESSO-SDK-MOTOR-CONTROL you can check which is the latest SDK version that includes motor control examples for each device.

On the other hand, the MCU continues to be suitable for motor control applications.

You are correct! There is no Motor Control Software in the SDK v2.15.0. The recommendation is to use v2.14.0.

You need to take into account MCUXpresso SDK ChangeLog_LPC55S36.pdf, which is included in the SDK v2.15.0, for the peripherals that you include in your project.
