I use MCUXpresso IDE v11.7.1 [Build 9221] [2023-03-28] and I have  MIMXRT1170-EVK. I have started it to use as decribed in Getting Started Guide .

I use SDK version 2.13.1 and run some basic examples such as led blink hello world.

After usage I faced with a problem. I can't see debug probe any more. What may cause this problem ?

I power it with 5V adapter and also from J11 only but the result is same.

I can still see it in Device Manager.

Hello @frozen,

Just for double check, could you please check your J38 setting? According to the MIMXRT1170 EVK Board Hardware User’s Guide. Section 2.3. Power tree you should use a jumper in J38's position 5-6 to use J11 or position 1-2 to use J43 (DC 5V external power supply) as its Power Supply.

[Table 4. Jumper settings of power supply]

Also, could you please check your boot mode configuration? You could take a look at the proper configuration according to the boot mode you need in MIMXRT1170 EVK Board Hardware User’s Guide. Section 2.2. Boot mode configuration.

Is this behavior happening while debugging the same example several times or after changing from one example to another example?

Finally, could you test it in the newest MCUXpresso IDE v11.8.0 with its proper SDK v2.14.0? Is the same behavior happening there?

Best regards, Raul.
