reading register from CLEV6630BM

Hello, i have following problem:

i have a mcu from infineon (xmc 1400 boot kit) which has to be programmed with Infineon dave. this device is connected to CLEV6630BM (the blue board) via SPI. Now i want to read the version register from the CLEV6630BM via a SPI command from my mcu. Could you help me with the code, or give me a quick overview how i can do that?

We have documents about RC663 register  reading/writing under folder
