Twc edu kit HELP PLEASE

I have the twr edu kit. The twr dev periph board doesnt seem to have any power when connected tk the tower and to the PC. It doesnt turn on or no led lights come on or anything. The board with the on/off switch turns on but the board with the lcd doesnt seem to have any power. please help!!
