Hi,
I am using MK22FX5120AVLQ12 controller on my custom board. I am using RTC module with crystal of 32.768kHz and an external battery on VBAT pins. As per reference manual, the module is power through only VBAT pin supply in both Chip power down and Chip power up mode. (please see the attached screenshot)
1. I would like to know if there's any provision to configure the RTC module to take power from VDD supply when the controller is powered ON.
2. Sometimes the RTC time gets reset to the default time. This event happens randomly and I have observed it on multiple boards. I have also confirmed that this is not because of battery draining. I measured the external battery voltage and found it to be near 3.1V which is the actual battery voltage. What could be the potential causes behind this?
