For starting development and learning the basics of using the KW41Z Family of MCUs, we recommend checking the "Getting Started with FRDM-KW41Z" online guide on our website. This document will guide you through the first steps after receiving your FRDM kit, to downloading and installing MCUXpresso and the corresponding SDK, and building and running the example applications.

For the ZigBee stack, this device supports the NXP ZigBee 3.0 stack developed specifically for it, and is packaged along with the rest of the SDK. Documentation about this stack can be found in the SDK, in the following path:
