Hi,
I have installed kinetis Design studio.I have firmware for MK64FN1MOVLL12 controller.I cant open this project as i go to project ->open project.

In dont find set up for 32 bit ubuntu OS.I could install it on 64-bit ubuntu.Please send me link to get IDE for 32 bit ubuntu.

Unfortunately, for KDS for Linux, it only supports 64bit system.
There is no KDS version for 32bit ubuntu yet.

I have installed it in windows.It worked for me.But i want to install it for ubuntu too.It generates tar.gz file.Dont know how to install this file.

you don't need install chip sdk (for example SDK_2.2_FRDM-K64F) to your KDS as a patch. you just need discompress it to your local disk. then follow Getting Started with MCUXpresso SDK.pdf (under your chip sdk folder ) , chapter 5 Run a demo using Kinetis Design Studio IDE to work with it.

It generates .tar.gz file.Kinetis IDE accept only .zip file

Please make sure you select Host OS as windows.
It's possible to get .tar.gz if you seclect Host OS as Linux.

Please go to this url then follow the video to download SDK2.2.

Hi,
the "project ->open project" feature works for a closed project inside "project explorer".
If you want to import another project into KDS IDE, use "File->import".
