I have a project where I need to keep the processor going even if the MCG configuration fails at some point in going from FEI to PEE. When I exit the clock configuration the processor clock needs to be 48MHz whether its referenced from the external crystal or the internal clock (trimmed to 31.250 KHz). I am at the point where I needed to figure out how to handle a failure going from FEI -> FBE -> PBE -> PEE at any point to get back to FEI. Obvious way is to backtrack but wondered if there was an easier way to get back to FEI from any point further in the chain.
