Hello,

I'm using a Softec Indart One probe, it worked with CW10.0, but SofTec_BDC08.dll is no longer  provided by CW10.1.

Softec systems are no longer suported?

Hi,

Never mind, I extracted SoftTec DLL from CW10.0 package and  it works fine.

CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers v10.1 does NOT include support for the SoftTec target interfaces. Unfortunately, SMH, the company that acquired SoftTec, decided not to update their DLLs to work with Windows 64-bit systems and Linux systems. Since CW MCU v10.1 was going to be offered on all these host operating systems, the decision was made not to include the 32-bit only SoftTec DLLs.

SofTec has produced a 32bit version of their DLL and for Windows XP only. But the DLL works as well under Vista 32bit (not sure about Windows 7 32bit).

But as for 64bit Windows, you need to have 64bit drivers as well, there is no solution (afaik) for 64bit.

Sorry for digging this up. But is there a chance to get the SofTec inDART HCS08 working with CodeWarrior 10.1 or 10.2 on Windows XP 32bit?

If there is a way to do so i would appreciate a short guide/howto.

Regards

RoLee
