Hi,
I contacted Freescale Tech Support. It was confirmed that I had a correct version (not corrupted) of all the files. The new copy was send to me (they were great).
It was still causing problems, but I knew that it wasn't a CW problem. I decided to do a clean reload of Windows XP Prof with formatting my HD. It solved the problem. I still don't know what was a direct source of my troubles, but I'm running CW Sim and Deb.

Hi Kris,
to answer you questions:
- yes, I managed to program the chip with my own programmer I build using P&E Micro sotware.
- with regard to CW - I just want to test the code with full chip simulation. To do this, you don't need a programmed chip. You would just select HC08 processor and Full Chip Simulation option on the connection panel of Real Time Simulator/Debagger program (hiwave.exe).
Regards, Jarek
Hello
Which OS are you running on your Host system (Windows 200, XP SP2, ...)?
Can you do the following:
- Start IDE
- Select Help -> "About Freescale CodeWarrior"
- Click on Installed products.
What is written on the top portion of the dialog?
How did you activate the Full Chip simulator? Using the Change MCU/Connection dialog?
Can you send the file "HC08_Full_Chip_Simulator.ini" from your project directory?
