Hello,
I own some BDM tools from P&E Micro.
Model: "USB-ML-CFE" BDM. (http://www.pemicro.com/products/product_view.cfm?product_ID=163)
I also have the Cyclone PRO and also some boards with integrated BDM. (ex: M52233DEMO)
We are mainly using the CFFLASHER tool on Windows XP or Windows 7 (32 bits) to burn our (coldfire) .S19 file.
Here are my questions:
Is there any plan from Freescale/NXP to update CFFLASHER for Windows 7 (64 bits) or Windows 10 ?
If not, would it be possible to release the source code of CFFLASHER on this forum (or github / sourceforge) ?
Otherwise, can you suggest alternative software for CFFLASHER for Windows 7 or 10 ?
Can I use CodeWarrior 10.x to burn a .S19 file to any Coldfire processor ?
Is there a "burn/program" tool within CodeWarrior 10.x ?
Thanks for your answer,
ssinfod

Hello ssinfod
Unfortunately the CFFlasher does not support Windows 7. It only works on Windows XP or 2000.
You can use the Flash Programmer in CodeWarrior v10.6.4. CW10.6 can be downloaded from:
To program Coldfire in CW10.6 IDE, you may create a Target Task for flash programmer, or use the 'Flash File to Target' feature.
For details, please view the section <Debugger->Flash Programmer> in v10.x FAQ Guide:
C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.6\MCU\Help\PDF\Microcontrollers_FAQ_Guide.pdf
To use it as a standalone tool, please see below for how to do it:
