Hi, Team,

 

After automatically update the CW MCU 10.6, when it's re-launched, the error message shows "

 

An internal error occurred during: "Indexing debug database.".

Cannot index database.

 

Could help advise it? Thank you.

I was fighting with this problem today too.  Turns out that I had CodeWarrior installed in C:\Program Files (x86), and that was enough to break it.

When I moved the install folder to C:\ it worked fine.  (I really don't like cluttering C:\ but I had to)

I guess Windows permissions were causing problems.

Hi beta,

I ever had one customer have similar problem as yours. he solved the problem by removing .metadata folder in the current workspace. then restart CW, check the problem again.

if the problem still exists with above solution, I wonder the problem is due to some CW system files were corrupt during update by accident. I suggest you uninstall your CW and old associations folder then reinstall CW and update again. I suggest you install CW10.6 update3 in off line mode:

CodeWarrior for MCU V10.6 Update 3.0.0 available

Hi everyone !!

I used CW6.3 but S08PA familly is not allowed. So ...

But after intall CW10.6, i have this problem with fallowing error message

An internal error occurred during: "Indexing debug database.".

Cannot index database.

Appears at every starts of CW.

I have tryed all you préconize but nothing to do :

- Erase .workspace directory and reload CW.

- uninstall and install CW10.6.4 in offline mode, online mode.

And i don't know if that issues are importants for debug and coding.

Please what can i do ??
