Hello Manoj

The part number of your USBTAP is CWH-UTP-PPCC-HE. It is designed for PowerPC targets.

Thank you for the information.

Another question is, what are the differences between different Rev?

For Example:

Rev C

Rev D

Rev G

Thank you,

Manoj

Hello Manoj

There are some improvements on hardware design between different reversions, especially to minimize ESD harming.

For example, Rev E introduced a hardware redesign, but maintains complete software and firmware compatibility.  The goal was a more robust USBTAP which could better handle unwanted static discharges, and better shielded from electromagnetic interference.

Release notes from Rev E:

  • Software compatible with existing UTAPS (no need for CodeWarrior upgrade)
  • Converted USB Type B connector to a USB Micro B connector (this will minimize ESD harming the unit)
  • More robust target cable (this will reduce susceptibility to EMI)
  • Plastic Case (this will minimize ESD harming the unit)

Rev F fixed one specific electrical issue with on flavor on PA processors introduced in the Rev E redesign.

Hello Monoj

We have several types of USBTAP for different products. Please look at bottom on UTAP case. The sticker on the bottom of the case will show ONCE, COP, CF…. please supply with these characters.
