What I have to do to use SMAC with a MC9S08QG8? (if the supported MCU in BeeKit are MC68HCS08GT60, MC68HCS08GB60 and MC9S08QE128)

What pins I have to connect between the MC9S08QG8 and the MC13192?

Thanks!

me also new in hcs08's, SO if anything incorrect then plz others correct that.

Peg is very correct.

ram and flash resources.for MC9S08QG8 are 512 bytes and 8K .
and required for smac are 2.5K-3K. so that can be implemented.
connections are throughfour wire SPI connections,as

MODEM MCU

MOSI-----MOSI
MISO----->MISO
M_IRQ---->IRQ
SPICLK---SPICLK

REGARDS..
KARAN.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

What flash and RAM resources are required to support SMAC?  I suspect that the 'QG8 would be too small.

Regards,
Mac

Hi,

You can actually implement SMAC in devices as small as a QG4. No bells and whistles here though.
See this document. This was prior to beekit.
I suspect that the automation inherent in beekit may have introduced inefficiencies that may now preclude the QG, but you can definitely do it the old way with just SMAC. (sans B&W)
As far as the connections go, they would be pretty much the same (the same named pins MISO, MOSI etc)
