PCF84176 Command Strings

HI:

I am trying t send data to the PCF85176.  I have tried the examples I found on ;line (Only 1) and have not has any success getting the displays to work.  I need to use the 7 segment mode and multiple LCDs.

Can anyone send me some sample command/data strings to turn the segments on and off?
