Hello,

What is the cheapest Freescale MCU I can find that has an A/D (8 bit is good enough) and a PWM generator? I have a fully licensed CodeWarrior for HC08 family so it would help me alot if the MCU is in this family. Thanks in advanced.

MC9S08QD4:  8pin, $0.66, 4K/2K Flash,256/128 RAM, 8M Bus,4CH 10bits ADC, Two 16bit timers, 2.7V-5.5V,
The only thing is this device is a menmber of S08 family, not HC08. While, S08 has more advantages than HC08.
A low cost DEMO9S08QD4 board ($59.00) may be used during development.
Codewarrior Special Edition with free 16k-code-size-limite licence will work.

Hi again tmyint,

Please DO NOT cross post!
And this particular forum is definately the wrong place for this question!
Although you now know you got two independant answers for the same device.

Hi, THM:

Have a look at the MC68HC908QT2. The QT2 has an 8 bit AtoD with a four channel analog multiplexer, and a timer module capable of both buffered and unbuffered PWM. The QT2 is in an 8-pin package, while it's larger sister, the QY2 is in a 16-pin package.

I don't know if it is the cheapest, but it is pretty darn cheap (under $1, last I heard).
