Freescale BSP community VS CodeAurora

Hi

I'm very confused ..

I started with imx6ullEVK generating a BSP and a simple application coming from CodeAurore repository.

https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/imx-manifest

imx-manifest - i.MX Release Manifest

And all is working ...

Now I saw the Freescale BSP community

GitHub - Freescale/fsl-community-bsp-platform: BSP platform manifest

and I tried to generate a BSP but without success.

But the questions is ...

Why two different methods to build images? And which one should I use?

Thanks

Fabio

Hello,

The CodeAurora  provides official NXP BSPs.

Look at Linux documentation: i.MX_Yocto_Project_User's_Guide.pdf,

i.MX_BSP_Porting_Guide.pdf.

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=L4.14.78_1.0.0_LINUX_DOCS

Regards,

Yuri.
