BT Firmware Init Failed

Hi Team,

 

I was trying to load mbt8xxx.ko bt module on Ubuntu 18.04 (kernel 5.0.0-23-generic) ended with the above error.

 

Here are the logs :-

[ 7136.194820] FW failed to be download!
[ 7136.194821] BT Firmware Init Failed
[ 7136.202664] sdio_bt: probe of mmc0:0001:2 failed with error -1
[ 7136.202701] BT: Driver loaded successfully

 

Procedure followed:-

  1. Marvel 8987 board is powered on
  2. Connected to Linux machine via sdio interface
  3. Board is detected with mmc0 emulation on Linux
  4. Built the bt module successfully
  5. Placed firmware in /lib/firmware/nxp directory as mentioned
  6. Used the below command to insert bt module and firmware loading as well.                                                                          $sudo insmod mbt8xxx.ko fw=1

 

Please would you help to mitigate this issue.
