Looking for some advice.
I want to use tags (preferably without any anchors) to build a proximity detector. Such that, each tag vibrates or sends a GPIO output when it gets within a certain range of any other tag.
Is this something that could be easily done on this platform? Is there another product that would be better suited for this application? Is this something that has been done before, or that I can buy off the shelf?
I appreciate any advice or feedback given
Hi,
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think your are looking for an NFC application, where, there is a “receiver” waiting for a tag, when this tag is closed enough to the “receiver”, this reacts and send an interrupt telling which tag was close to it.
This can be done using NFC readers and NFC Ntags. Please find these solutions in the following link: https://www.nxp.com/products/rfid-nfc:RFID-NFC
