Hello  All,
My doubt is whether all 8-bit freescale microcontrollers are having Von Neumann architecture.

Hello Peg,
I am preparing for a seminar on Freescale architecture, and I came across different cores like
S08, RS08 ,HC08,HC11 etc .When I read  different documents ,I could find that all are VonNeumann .But for others like PIC ,ATMEL there are 8-bit controllers  with Harvard architecture. So to clarify the doubts only I posted this.
So the conclusion is like all are VonNeumann architecture.

Hello thunderbolt,

Which devices in particular are causing this doubt?
Given that there is only two cores in current use (HC08 and S08) I fail to see where it may be coming from.

Hello Thunder,

AFAIK all 8-bit MCUs from Freescale are CISC and Von Neumann devices.

Best,
