Dear Team
we have received PTN3392BS from NXP
is there any way of knowing which firmware version is burnt on the device without connecting it ?
maybe there is something on the label we can use to identify the firmware?
Aizik
hi Jose,
thank you for the reply , unfortunately the PN listed ob the label is only PTN3392BS,518
i attached the picture below!
Hi,
Then you can identify them using the NXP’s 12NC number (MPN), which for the PTN3392BS,518 is 935288181518 as you can see in the product details page: https://www.nxp.com/part/PTN3392BS
PTN3392BS (without the “/Fx” suffix in the part number) is the PTN3392 with latest production firmware (Trust NXP). The production version 4.0 is programmed in PTN3392BS (Trust NXP).
There is no other way to knowing which firmware version is burnt on the device without connecting it.
Regards,
Jose

Hi Aizik,
PTN3392BS should be shipped with a label on the packing with the part number like PTN3392BS/Fx, where the ‘x’ represent the firmware version as follows:
* PTN3392BS/F4: PTN3392 with production firmware version 4.0.
* PTN3392BS/F3: PTN3392 with production firmware version 3.0.
* PTN3392BS/F2: PTN3392 with production firmware version 2.0.
* PTN3392BS/F1: PTN3392 with production firmware version 1.0.
* PTN3392BS: PTN3392 with latest production firmware (Trust NXP). The production version 4.0 is programmed in PTN3392BS (Trust NXP).
