If its possible to replace a TDA8950TH for a TDA8954TH without modification?
Pin to Pin replacement?

Hi Jorge,

I have checked the data sheets of the TDA8950 and the TDA8954. I did notice one difference between the two IC’s. In the TDA8950 application the resistor which determines the oscillator frequency (ROSC) is connected to VSSA. In the TDA8954 application this resistor is connected to pin 11 (OSCREF). However, the OSCREF pin is internally connected to VSSA through a 2 ohm resistor, so I do not expect any issues when the TDA8954 is used in a TDA8590 application.

Best regards,

Tomas
