Hi,
If i.MX6 is accidentally restarted during accessing to the serial flash at upper 128Mb segment with 4-byte addressing mode.
Then i.MX6 tries to reboot from the serial flash with 3-byte addressing mode but the serial flash still stays in 4-byte addressing mode.
In this case, the serial flash can not be read correctly because there are mismatch of addressing mode between i.MX6 and serial flash.
To avoid this kind of issue, dose the serial flash with hardware reset pin have to be introduced, and resetting the serial flash when i.MX6 is rebooting?
Or are there any other idea?
BR,
