IMX6Q DDR3-1866使用压力测试工具测试失败

大家好,

      请问一下各位,有用过DDR3-1866在IMX6Q上的吗?我最近在imx6q板子上使用DDR3-1866的时候,使用压力测试工具V2.8进行校准失败。

1、采用I.MX6DQSDL DDR3 Script Aid V0.10.xlsx进行配置,根据DDR3 calibration for MT41K256M16TW-107 帖子上Artur Petukhov 员工说的“For Data Rate options of 1600 and faster use the 1600 value.”进行配置。然后校准失败。而后尝试根据IMX6DQRM.pdf手册进行修改相应配置参数,均失败。

2、同样一块PCB板子,就是DDR3不同型号,如果是DDR3-1600的话,使用压力测试工具进行校准和压力测试,在396MHz~635MHz之间均可以通过测试。而DDR3-1866却不行。

       哪位可以指点一下,使用DDR3-1866时,该如何进行配置.inc脚本文件?谢谢!

    Would you please publish how to adjust the script for newer DDR parts? For example: I want to select a DDR3L-1866 part and modify the tool to accept. I have the appropriate data, but the script does not accept.

      Hello Tony,

      Yes, There is no DDR3-1866 related parameters in aid.

       

      And after internal check and consult DDR vendor, we believe using DDR3-1600 parameters and run on DDR3-1866 grade chip is acceptable.

      No potential risk.

      That's why I did not update the aid.

       

      During discussion this topic, DDR vendor generally suggest to use DDR3-1066 parameters (which match real working speed).

    No special consideration on script when using DDR3-1866 chip.

    Please ask local FAE or DFAE for help to check HW first.

         您好,如果是配置参数的脚本参数不正确,怎么会不通过呢,感觉还是哪些相关寄存器配置上有问题。在硬件上应该是没有问题的吧,使用DDR3-1600都没有问题呢。

    Hi yz

    DDR3-1866 chip may produce more noise (as it is faster) so one

    can try to decrease drive strength and pay attention to power supplies.
