Hello,
We are going to develop our new products based on coldFire MCF54452 processor and also considering CodeWarrior as the development environment. We also want to buy the bdiCW from ABATRON as our BDM/JTAG interface.

Can we use bdiCW to program on board flash? There is nothing about this feature in the production spectification.

Cheers

You might just want to download the Special Edition of CodeWarrior (it's free), and try looking at the supported debugger connections. To do that:

1) Launch CodeWarrior.
2) Go to the Project Settings panel by typing ALT F7.
3) Under the Target Setting Panels choices in the column on the left, pick Remote Debugging.
4) In the Remote Debugging panel that appears, go to the Connection options drop-down menu and examine the choices there. I see choices for Abatron TCP/IP and Abatron serial, but I don't know if those are suitable for the Abatron part you're talking about.

Fair warning: the Special Edition download is pretty big (over several hundred megabytes), but it may give you the opportunity to check out features on the toolset that you might have questions about. HTH.
