I am using MCUXpresso IDE v10.1 (and have also checked with v10.0) and Bitdefender Internet Security 2018 on a Windows 10 PC. As soon as I initiate a build, Bitdefender begins quarantining mcuxpressoide.exe (causing the program to exit), and proceeds to quarantine lots of associated files.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Adding the "\nxp\mcuxpressoide_10.1.0_589" folder to the Bitdefender exclusions list does not solve the problem. I have to completely deactivate Bitdefender in order to build a project in MCUXpresso.
Bitdefender claims that these files contain the "Gen.Atc4.Detection" virus.
Virus scanning on systems we have here are not showing any such issues (though we aren't using Bitdefender). If your are still seeing problems, I suggest you try again to prevent the scan of the IDE (How to add antivirus exclusions (exceptions) in Bitdefender 2018 ) or report it to them to as a false positive (What to do when Bitdefender detects legitimate applications).
