Hi,
I am using T2080 Processor in my custom board.
Our customer requirement is three x1 PCIe at 5Gbps data rate and one x1 PCIe at 2.5Gbps.
My serdes section hardware connections are as below.
Serdes-1 -->(x1 PCIe ,A), (x1 PCIe,E),(x1 PCIe,F),(x1 PCIe ,G)
Serdes-2 -->x2 AURORA (E,F)
The protocol i have chosen F8-36.
Is it possible to run 3 x1 PCIe lane at 5Gbps & one x1 PCIe lane at 2.5Gbps.
Please confirm.
Hi NXP,
Can we use aurora in T2080 for high speed communication like PCIe? As per the reference manual, T2080 supports Aurora only for Real-time debugging with Lauterbach TRACE32.
Also I couldn't able to fetch any detail about aurora memory map registers in the QorIQ T2080 Reference Manual.
Please clarify.
Aurora can be used as debug interface only and its detailed description is available only for debug tools vendors..

For the selected SerDes protocols (F8-36) maximum rate of all the PCIe controllers is determined by the SRDS_DIV_PEX_S1 - i.e. all four x1 PCIe lanes will have the same limit - 5Gbps.
