Document Number: AN4509 Rev. 0, 09/2012 "i.MX 6Dual/6Quad Power Consumption Measurement" App Note states "The power consumption of SNVS is comparatively negligible except in Deep Sleep Mode” and doesn’t go into any more details
“Negligible” is a fuzzy word for something that is always on when coin cell is attached (SNVS_LP.)
There must be some current which will help to size the battery as how long the need to have backup.
Are there any characterization results?
Thanks, in advance,
Scott
Hello,
To estimate battery options, please use “Stop Mode Current and Power Consumption” table
(SNVS Only mode) in the i.MX6 Datasheet(s), since in this mode supply current is provided by
battery.
