We are considering removing the DD4 SPD EEPROM from the LS1043ardb and doing secure boot, but we need to understand the implications for doing so for secure boot.

Does secure boot for SDK 2.0 uboot, or any secure boot software use the DDR initialization or DDR characteristics as part of secure boot for the SPD EEPROM on the LS1043ARDB, or does it use th SPD EEPROM in any way on the LS1043ardb dev boards using SDK 2.0?
