I want to know how to protect the processor in order to avoid other person using hardware emulator to debug my program in ROM chip.
The processor is mpc862.

CodeWarrior 8.8 doesn't provide ROM protection funtion.
Please refer to the section "45.3.1.1 Debug Mode Enable vs. Debug Mode Disable" in http://cache.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/reference-manuals/MPC862UM.pdf?fsrch=1&sr=1&pageNum=1, it would be useful for your purpose.
