CAN to SPI Converter

Dear all,

I am looking for a chip which will convert CAN messages to a SPI message.

Is there any chip available as such ?

Till now I have found MCP2515 http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/21801e.pdf . But this chip does not serve the purpose because, SPI transactions need to be triggered in this chip, Master has to request for Data from MCP2515. This is not my purpose.

I want a converter such that it will immediately convert CAN to SPI, without any help of the trigger.

Can anyone please tell me whether there is a chip which can work like this ?

Alternate ideas will be appreciated as well.

Hi, as I know NXP does not offer directly SPI to CAN bridge.

It could be developed at your own with using some of our gateway devices, for instance following would be suitable one:
