Hello,
I can program NAND flash from u-boot but cannot from CW. I switch SW3 and SW4 to use CW and CS0 to NOR. I follow this steps:

1- Select micro, USB TAP and init file (Freescale\CodeWarrior PA V8.8\PowerPC_EABI_Support\Initialization_Files\PQ2\8313RDB_init.cfg)
2- Select NAND flash (K9F5608U0D or K9F5608U0D_WITH_SPARE) and put base address (0xf8000000 from init file)
3- Erase and blank check.
4- Program binary file (u-boot-nand.bin) to NAND address base (0xf8000000).
5- Verify failed and when I try to boot it failed too.

Any advice or suggestion on what is wrong ? Any help will be welcome.

Thank's in advance.

Regards.

Hi, Tom & medina:

I have met the same problem when i burn u-boot to the nand flash in the MPC8313ERDB board using CW 5.9.0.

Could you tell me which package that need to patch the CW 5.9.0?

Hi Simon,
You must use the utility "CodeWarrior updater" from Start Menu. I don't know other way.

I've checked with an engineer here and the consesus is that you should file an SR on this. Click here to do that.

The Freescale support advised me to patch the CW. That was the solution. Now I can program NAND flash from CW.

Thanks Tom.
