HAB question

I read a HAB document and knew that Freescale used HAB to securely boot OS image and bootloader.

But how was HAB securely booted in the first place? Did they publish what mechanism they used?

All the information regarding security on i.MX processors is provided on a separate document, and it is required to sing an NDA in order to get it. If you are interested on this, you should contact your local FAE.
