booting stops at GPU in release 5.1

Hi,

We have downloaded the latest release "android_L5.1.1_2.1.0-ga" for our custom board.

While booting, the kernel hangs at GPU (Please see the log at the end). As advised, we are using "imx6q-sabresd-ldo.dtb" for booting.

Before, we were using "Android L5.0.0_1.0.0 GA" release on same hardware, and we were able to boot properly using "imx6q-sabresd-ldo.dtb".

Even we have taken the 5.0 release kernel & 5.1 release "imx6q-sabresd-ldo.dtb". with this combination, we booted the board successfully. So we can say "imx6q-sabresd-ldo.dtb" is fine.

It seems something is missing in Kernel. Please help us.

Hi Dan,

We are using sata card to boot our custom board.

We have downloaded the source "android_L5.1.1_2.1.0-ga" & configure the uart number according to our board.

If "MXC Vivante GPU support" is enabled, the kernel hangs at "Galcore version 5.0.11.33433".

If we disable the "MXC Vivante GPU support" , we are able to boot successfully.

Regards,

Praveen
