Hi all,
I would like to ask about the CSI camera input capability of i.MX6DQ.
When my customer tried to capture Full-HD video from OV5640 camera module connected to i.MX6Q-SABRE board,
they saw the message which indicate that the maximum frame rate is limited to 15fps.
They believe that the maximum frame rate limitation comes from the specification of OV5640 module.
And they believe that the capability of i.MX6DQ/CSI, paralle CSI input, is higher than that.
Are they correct?
Let me ask one more.
They think the video capturing at Full-HD/30fps using with CSI parallel input is rarely done in general.
They think most of the implementation for the video capturing at Full-HD/30fps is done by using with MIPI, not parallel input, in general.
Are they right?

Hi Miyamoto
you are correct, capability of i.MX6DQ/CSI parallel CSI input is higher,
15fps limit comes from OV5640 as coefficient tables are given by its vendor and
under NDA with them.
>They think most of the implementation for the video capturing at Full-HD/30fps
>is done by using with MIPI, not parallel input, in general.
Yes, right.
