Hello Changfu,

Difference between PK40 and MK40 is the qualification in silicon revision (P = Prequalification and M = fully qualified, general market flow).

If they have the same Mask number and the same package they are compatible. Package type is expressed in part number as shown below:

As you can intuit, if both chips have the same part number (only P and M are different) and same Mask chip, they are compatible in pinout configuration.
