Our ls1021a board cannot reset/reboot

Hi,

I meet some problems while trying to reset/reboot our ls1021a board.

If I issue the reboot command, our board will halt and promt

mxc_restart: Watchdog reset failed to assert reset

The same thing happens in u-boot too. I have no ideas about it.

I have checked those WDOG1 registers and they are the same as values on TWR board.

Can anyone help me or give me any advice?

Hello H Wei,

In the software, Watchdog reset is generated by writing Software Reset Signal(SRS) bit of the Watchog Control Register(WDOG_WCR) to assert wdog_rst signal.

For details please refer to the section "40.3.3.1 Watchdog reset generation" in LS1021ARM reference manual, please check to "wdog_rst_b" and "HRESET" signals referring to the timing diagram.

Hi Yiping,

If I set SRS bit to 0, the TWR board will reboot, but it doesn't work on our board.

I'll try to find out the reason.
