MPC17531A replacement or alternative part

Dear All,

One of my customer wants to drive a bipolar step motor and maximun output current of 0.7A.

Customer has chosen MPC17531A but we found this series is not recommended for new designs and there is no replacement part also available.

Please advise if suitable part is available in freescale which can meet customer requirement.

Mithun,

Most of our dual, low power H-bridges are mature. However, both the MPC17529 and MPC17533 are still active parts and meet customer’s requirements.

Hi Tomas,

Thanks for your inputs, sorry I missed out to mention the temperature range customer need a part supporting up to -20 to 80deg, the parts mentioned above from you support upto 60deg.

Hi Mithun,

Then I would recommend considering the MC34933, it is also a dual H-bridge with an ambient operating temperature up to 85°C.
