When you post a question, please, be aware of giving us at least some basic information. Something like:

* board used

* BSP you´ve been using (is it linux? android? ubuntu?)

* what´s the kernel version

* what was the changes you made.

* are you booting from SDCard? From SPInor? From NFS?

* what´s the bootargs/kernel command line?

Hi,

Sorry for providing incomplete info. Below are the details,

* I.MX53 QSB

* Linux 2.6.31

* changed the boot options in kernel (using menu config) to --> noinitrd console=ttymxc0 115200 root=/dev/mmblk0p1 rw rootfstype=ext2 ( Before it was set to root=/dev/mtd...)

* using tftpboot to transfer the image file and rfs is on the sdcard

How did you created the rootfs?

I have never saw this error for FSL prebuilt image. But I did when I was working with a systemD rootfs and a uncompatible kernel.

And, why are you using 2.6.31 kernel? Please, take a look in the following link and see if you are able to use 2.6.35 kernel (this is latest supported kernel)

http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git/log/?h=imx_2.6.35_11.09.01

Thanks for the quick reply.

Once ltib has generated a image and rfs ... i use the below commands to copy the rfs to sd card on my host

umount  /media/xyz

mkfs -t ext2 /dev/sdb1

mkdir /mnt/sd

mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/sd

cp -pr rootfs/* /dev/sdb1

I could see one more person having the same issues in the below post:

mx53qsb ERROR "cp: write error: No space left on device"
