Is CodeWarrior Gear (t-shirts, mugs, etc) still available somewhere. I'd like to get some Blood, Sweat, and Code gear for my programming team.

thanks

Hi,

I've seen some available in congresses and salons, but have never seen them for sale on the web/shop.
May you send me your email via private message or email so I feel authorized contacting you offline to discuss the matter further ?

Cheers,
Alban.

Yeah, I can't find it on the web anywhere. The last time I saw any was before CW got bought up by Motorola. They probably still have the trademark on it. Oh well...

Hi,

Freescale owns CodeWarrior, not Motorola.

Didn't Motorola buy Codewarrior before the Freescale split off?

So Freescale didn't buy Codewarrior it just got it along with the package.

That doesn't change what I said.
The brand belongs to Freescale and not Motorola.
Furthermore all brands were negotiated and part of the price of the spin off.

CodeWarrior is a brand/product name.
The Company was Metrowerks.
The debugger for 8/16bit mentions HiWave which was bought by Metrowerks.

And so just to complete the history lesson. Hiwave does not exist, even as a seperate unit any more?
It only survives as old references to "the part that used to be done by Hiwave"?
Presumably it used to be a 3rd party thing like PE is now??

Hello

To complete the history here.
HI-WAVE was developed by a company formerly known as HIWARE.

HIWARE has been acquired by Metrowerks back in 2000.
So Now HI-WAVE is a Freescale product (like CodeWarrior).

Hello R,

I had confirmation from them, CodeWarrior does not sell promotional material anymore.
However, T-Shirts and others can be distributed for free from time to time. For instance on congresses and meetings.
