0023-ENGR38993445-5-AUART-SW-workaround-implemented.patch from LINUX_1005_PATCHS is the patch for errata 2836.
This patch affects AUART driver which will use mxs arch DMA in 1005 BSP, and the AUART driver (drivers/serial/stmp-app.c in LTIB0912) has changed to drivers/serial/mxs-auart.c in LTIB1005.
It is not possible to port back or replace it with mxs-auart.c because the old dma (arch/arm/plat-stmp3xxx/dma.c) cannot co-exist with the new dma engine (arch/arm/plat-mxs/dmaengine.c).
