I have CodeWarrior pro (v4.6)

It doesn't fully support C++ for HCS12(X) or not at all? Where exactly is that revealed? I missed it before CW was purchased. Ended up reading it here.

I also found out here that Processor Expert doesn't support XGate chips.

Can we switch license methods? We are using the floating license dished out by a server. There have been problems with it conflicting with other programs that do likewise. Plus it is a pain (you know where) when I have to go elsewhere with my computer to work.

If I were to rate my satisfaction with CW on a scale of 1-10, I would say it's about a 6. If I were to rate the search capabilities of this forum it would be a 2.

If you have the Pro version of 4.6, you should have C++ support, with no size limit. If you have the standard version, there is a 1 KB limit on C++ code. Check here for the capabilities supported by each edition. I suspect that something has happened to your license. Do you get any messages in the diagnostic window about plugins expired when you try to build a program?
