We are designing a new solution for our product, and I am wondering if anyone is using the Scala programming language on their systems. We are thinking of using Linux Embedded with JVM and Scala, and I am wondering if it is a good idea. We are open to using the iMx8 processor to get better processing power.
If you are using it, can you please share your experience with build and debugging tools, garbage collection, support from the community, and so on?
