I.MX RT 500 in IAR

I am using IAR IDE version 8.42.2 and am unable to find I.MX RT 500 in the device list in options. Is this not supported or is there something else I need to do to get support.

at least Version 8.50.9 has support for the iMXRT500 devices.

I only have a license for 8.42. So is there a way to add devices to older version of IAR?

Hello core_eng,

The support for different devices comes from IAR so I would recommend upgrading to a newer version if possible. I would recommend contacting IAR to see if this would be possible with your current license.
