Documentation for the Flash Patch Block?

Hello.

This article describes hardware assisted debug breakpoints and flash remapping. https://interrupt.memfault.com/blog/cortex-m-breakpoints.

ARM documentation here: https://documentation-service.arm.com/static/5f8fef3af86e16515cdbf816

Is this supposed to be documented in the iMXRT1060 TRM? The ARM document says it is always implemented. Examining the registers at the address of `0xE0002000` seems to show the expected layout but attempting to enable the unit seems to fail. Can it be disabled/fused out?

Please ask if more information is required.

Many thanks

Jerry.

Hi @g40,

The Flash Patch and Breakpoint unit (FPB) is implemented on the RT1060, as mentioned on section "8.2.2 Debug system components" of the IMXRT1060RM. However, since this is implemented by ARM's architecture, it is only named as a component on the Reference Manual, and the full description can be found on the "Arm® Cortex®-M7 Processor Technical Reference Manual".

BR,
Edwin.
